The story goes that when I was just two years old, I looked at my aunt and said, “There isn’t a stitch of brown in that dress!”—then promptly told her to change her shoes. Since then, I’ve been offering fashion advice to family and friends. With both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Merchandising and Product  Development from Florida State University, I’ve learned the power of combining creativity, knowledge with industry insight.

Today, I’m thrilled to bring my previous experiences in celebrity, editorial, and corporate styling to help you get dressed for your every day. I believe your closet should be a source of inspiration—not frustration. My motto? “If you love it, wear it!”

If I had a dollar for every time someone said to me “only YOU could pull that off” I could retire immediately.  My personal style has always been a bit out there and I’ve never seen a statement piece I didn’t need to add to my collection.  Putting on my odd armor gives me the strength to go out into the world and feel unstoppable.

As a commercial and personal branding photographer, I’ve seen how important the right outfit is for building confidence and telling a bold story.  I’m taking my 15 years of creative photography experience and pouring those compositional and conceptual skills into wardrobe styling with Why Style.  I truly believe your personal style holds the power to open doors, make strong impressions, and build legends.

I’m here for anyone who is weird, but in a good way.

I discovered the power of fashion as early as sixth grade. I loved picking out outfits for my friends and mixing and matching clothes with my sisters to create unique looks for all of us. Even back then, I realized how exciting it was to help someone feel more confident just through their style. That feeling still motivates me today—to know that with a bit of creativity, I can help someone feel more empowered in their everyday life.

What sets me apart is that I don’t follow every trend just because it’s popular. Trends don’t work for everyone, and I believe in creating new ones that fit each individual’s unique style. Fashion has given me a way to express myself and share that creativity with others. To me, styling is more than just clothes—it’s a reflection of who you are. When you're comfortable in what you're wearing, you show up as your best self. Confidence is key to being the best you!
